EUKAAI Corporation ("Euka", "we", "us") lets brands connect their Shopify store to Euka at app.euka.ai through a custom app that is installed only on that brand's store. Through that connection, Euka tracks the sales your creators drive, shows your Shopify sales next to your creators' TikTok views, creates discount codes and sample orders for your programs, and finds creators among your customers. This policy explains how we handle information for these custom-app connections.
Euka AI, our app on the Shopify App Store, has its own Shopify App Privacy Policy. Our general Privacy Policy describes the broader Euka account, website, and other services. For a store connected through a custom app, the specific data practices below apply.
Information we collect
- Store information: Shopify store identifiers, store name and domains, and the store details Shopify returns when you connect.
- Product catalog information: products, variants, collections, prices, and inventory levels.
- Customer information: each customer's name, email address, phone number, account state, when their account was created and updated, and the customer record as Shopify sends it. When you connect, we import up to 250,000 customers who have placed an order, most recently updated first. If that is fewer than 100,000, we then add customers who haven't ordered until we hold 100,000. After that, each new order brings in the customer it names.
- Order information: every order your store sends us when it is created, updated, or deleted, whether or not a creator drove it: the order number and date, the customer's email address and Shopify customer ID, currency and totals, discounts and discount codes, line items, refunds, fulfillments, checkout token, sales channel, and the order as Shopify sends it, which includes the customer's billing and shipping addresses and phone number. When you connect, we also read the date, total, and test and cancelled status of each order your store took in the previous calendar month.
- Storefront information: what we record when a shopper opens a creator's Euka link, and what the Euka Web Pixel, Euka SafeLink, and the order confirmation card send us about shoppers on your storefront, as described under On your storefront.
- Program information: the discount codes we create in your store for your creators, and the sample orders we create for them, with the creator's name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and the products they picked. Creating a sample order also adds the creator to your store's customers, or updates their customer record, with the tag Euka-creator.
- Theme information: whether the Euka SafeLink theme app embed is turned on in your theme. We only read this; we don't change your theme.
- Account and connection information: the Euka account and Brand linked to your store, access permissions, authorization credentials, and the information needed to maintain or disconnect that link.
- Usage, operational, and support information: sync and import timestamps, task status, error information, request and security logs, and information you provide when contacting support. Hosting and security logs may include IP addresses and browser or request information.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Credit orders to the creators whose tracking links or discount codes drove them, work out their commissions, and show each program's sales.
- Count clicks on your creators' links, pay creators who are paid per click, and show your Brand where its traffic comes from.
- Show your Shopify sales and orders next to your creators' TikTok views on your Euka Dashboard.
- Find creators among your customers: we compare your customers' email addresses with the email addresses of TikTok and Instagram creators in Euka's creator directory, so you can invite the ones that match to a program.
- Create discount codes for your creators, and create, cancel, and track the sample orders your programs send them.
- Give shoppers who claim a creator's SafeLink offer a single-use discount code, and credit the orders that use it.
- If one of your programs accepts customers, show a card on your order confirmation page that invites the buyer to apply, and tell which program drove their order.
- Estimate your store's annual revenue from last month's order totals, for Euka's internal use. We don't show this estimate to your Brand.
- Prepare a suggested program for your Brand from your products and how many of each sold in the last 90 days.
- Import and update your product catalog, and report sync progress and errors.
- Keep the integration secure, troubleshoot failures, and respond to support and privacy requests.
- Meet applicable legal obligations.
On your storefront
Creator links
A creator's Euka tracking link or SafeLink points to Euka's server, which records the visit and then sends the shopper on to your store. Because this happens before your storefront loads, it does not depend on the shopper's storefront privacy choices.
For each visit we keep the shopper's IP address, browser user agent, and country, the website and page they clicked from, when they clicked, and which creator, link, and video it came from. A repeat visit from the same shopper to the same creator on the same day isn't recorded again. We keep these records with your programs' sales records.
Euka Web Pixel
When you connect, we add the Euka Web Pixel to your store. Shopify runs it only for visitors whose privacy choices allow analytics and marketing tracking. It does nothing for shoppers who didn't arrive through a creator's Euka tracking link.
When a shopper does arrive through one, the pixel saves the link's tracking ID, the referring website's hostname, and the path of the page they landed on in two cookies on your storefront, kept for 30 days. If that shopper completes a checkout, the pixel sends us the tracking ID, the checkout token, Shopify's browser and event IDs, and the referring hostname and landing path, so we can match the checkout to its order.
Euka SafeLink
If you turn on the Euka SafeLink embed in your theme, a shopper who arrives through a creator's SafeLink can claim a discount code on your storefront. Apart from the link visit described above, the SafeLink embed sends us nothing until the shopper clicks to claim, and it does not depend on the pixel's privacy settings.
When a shopper claims, their browser sends us the offer's token, your store, an identifier for their cart, and the page they came from. For the claim, we keep a one-way hash of the cart identifier and of their IP address, the creator link and video they came from, and the referring website's hostname, and we create a single-use discount code for them in your store and add it to their cart. SafeLink doesn't set cookies of its own; it reads your store's cart cookie to check that the claim comes from the same cart.
Order confirmation card
If one of your programs accepts customers, a card on your order confirmation page invites the buyer to apply. The buyer's browser loads the card's icon from Euka, which tells us the card is showing: we record when it was last shown on your store, and use the browser's IP address to limit how often it can be loaded. The card's Apply link carries the order's checkout token and the discount codes used, so we can tell which program drove the order. A buyer who follows it applies on Euka's site.
Sessions
Euka at app.euka.ai uses the account sessions and cookies needed for sign-in, as described in our general Privacy Policy.
Sharing and processing
Your store's information is available to authorized users of the Euka Brand linked to your store. We exchange data with Shopify to operate the integration and use service providers for application hosting, database and file storage, background processing, security, and support. We also use:
- AI providers, reached through an AI gateway, when someone at your Brand uses Euka's AI assistant or connects an AI client to Euka. What these tools return can include the details of orders credited to your programs, with the customer's email address.
- An AI provider, reached through an AI gateway, to prepare a suggested program for your Brand after your catalog syncs. This happens for each Brand that doesn't yet have a saved suggestion, whether or not it already runs programs. It receives your brand and store names, your currency, and up to 100 of your published products, each with its title, type, vendor, tags, price range, inventory, and units sold in the last 90 days. It receives no customer information.
- Email delivery and app notification providers, which send your program messages, including to customers you invite to a program. They receive the person's email address or Euka creator account, your brand's and the program's names, and the message.
These providers process information to deliver those services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of our business. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Euka and its service providers operate.
Retention and deletion
We keep store, catalog, customer, and order information while your store is connected. Disconnecting the integration or uninstalling the app stops our access to your store, but it does not delete the customer and order information we already saved. We keep it until you ask us to delete it.
To have your store's information deleted, email support@euka.ai with your store domain, and we will delete your store's customers, orders, and related records from our systems. If one of your customers asks you to delete their information, email us with your store domain and the customer's email address, and we will delete their customer record and the personal details in their orders. Shopify keeps sending us updates to existing orders, and an update to one of that customer's orders can send us their details again; if that happens, email us again and we will delete them again. We may need to verify your authority before acting on a request.
Programs, creator records, and the videos creators upload belong to your Euka Brand, not to the store connection. Email support@euka.ai to have them erased.
Operational logs, support records, and backup copies may be retained separately for security, recovery, or legal obligations. We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Removing this Shopify connection does not automatically delete your broader Euka account or information provided through other Euka services.
Your choices and requests
You can disconnect your store in Euka at any time, or uninstall the app through Shopify Admin. For questions or requests about your information, email support@euka.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or restrict the processing of personal information.
Changes to this policy
We will publish updates on this page and revise the date above. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required.
